The topic about
stress and its related busters has constantly been in our mind for many years,
even from the time we are unaware of it. If we able to timely identify this
challenge and the factor creating this challenge (sometimes even before it
attacks us) and take the necessary actions, it can be prevented from occurrence
or recurrence.
In today’s world, one
of the most important challenges we all are facing is in the nature of ‘stress’.
Dictionary says that stress is ‘a state of mental or emotional strain or
tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances.’ Sometimes simple
discussions can end up in creation of stress. If we are overloaded with work or
there is any continuous perturbing factor, we tend to feel the situation of
stress. This can leads to a lot of health related issues including fatigue and
lack of concentration and what not.
During stress, the
following questions are of high relevance:
-
Why
me
-
Will
I be able to satisfy the requirements (of others)-expectation
-
Will
this never end
Like on
and so forth.
Anything that can
lead to reduce or end up the stress related challenge can be termed as a stress buster. This can vary depending upon
the characteristic, attitude, habits, egos, environment, etc. from person to
person.
There are a lot of
ways stress can be managed and busted.
One of the difficult yet effective way goes with the contra of the word
stress ie. laughter and happiness. We can remember here, Dr. Asthana of the
famous Bollywood blockbuster ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ who used to laugh when he was
stressed and was in fact using the laughter weapon as a stress buster.
There can be lots of
other ways which are easily accessible over the net. One of the most common
stress management techniques can be through the proper and correct use of
meditation and yoga. This will help to praise our inner self and give us
immense power to face the intricacies of stress and in fact love ourselves and the
factor creating the stress.
Breathing techniques
(deep breathing) has been a proven stress buster technique.
Knowing the fact that
we are not given anything which we can’t handle and the mantra of “All is Well”
(Courtesy Film 3 Idiots) can give us immense confidence to face any stress
related situations.
Praying to Almighty always
helps us to gain strength and self confidence.
A relaxed bath, using
the blender for making juice (remember the film “Enemy of the States”), a long
drive, walking lonely, singing soft melodies, seeing cartoons, watching nursery
rhymes with your baby, quality family time, dancing (as PK said) etc etc.. anything and everything can be used
for relaxing yourself and releasing the stress.
Come! Let’s live
merrily and be stress free.
"STRESSED" spelled backwards "DESSERTS". So don't be stressed and make your life a dessert.

Remember…..“If you
want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.”
